Spicy Turkey Sliders
We made these sliders for family on a surprisingly warm winter day. Kudos to Anil for grilling these to perfection!

Ingredients (For about 10-12 sliders)
1 lb ground turkey
1 cup of panko style breadcrumbs
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
2 jalapenos, chopped
1 to 1.5 cups of grated habanero or pepper jack cheese
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
12 slider buns

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees if you’re not planning to grill these. Chop the jalapenos and onion and grate the cheese. If you want to keep the meat moist and juicy, you can also grate the onion. Combine all ingredients (except the buns and cooking spray) in a large bowl. Cover a large tray or pizza pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking spray. Form patties that are about 3 inches in diameter and place on the tray. Cook the patties on the grill until done, or cook in them in the oven on 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Put cooked patties on the buns and top with your favorite salsa, barbeque, or hot sauce. Serve immediately!
